Our Food Bank Team were invited to conduct an assembly for the students at Abu Bakr Girls School (Abu Bakr Trust) in Walsall. As part of Fairtrade Fortnight the whole school took part in a competition where the pupils were challenged to bring in as many Fairtrade products as they were able to and to further raise awareness of ethical consumerism. Following this, they held a fundraiser selling Fairtrade products. All proceeds were donated to the Food Bank. Our volunteers thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would to thank the Teachers and the School
